I have a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health.
I graduated with the highest honors, and am certified through the American Association Of Drugless Practitioners.
I have worked in the food industry for all of my life; all areas of the restaurant business, owning my own catering company, cooking teacher, test kitchen home economist, and food stylist for major magazines, commercials and advertising.
Through the years I have seen food trends come and go. I have seen the promotion of unhealthy foods to look healthy to sell products. I find people searching for real information, to help them in their wellness quest and come up short, only to have been allured into the latest fad. This cycle only contributes to the diseases we are now seeing in our overall health and the environment as a whole. What we are doing will not sustain our world, the creatures in it or our health. I feel I have an opportunity and a responsibility in my life and in my work to educate others.
I want to help others care for themselves with the combination of lifestyle, nutritional, physical, psychological and spiritual components, holistically giving people the answers and serve them in their quest towards their own truth of wellness. I believe our body has a wonderful ability to heal itself given what it needs to do the work. I have been committed to the holistic nutrition approach, and have made
my own life changes because of it. I now want to be able to help others achieve their health goals.
